In its commitment to ensuring efficiency and timely completion, PPGPL reserves the right to engage multiple contractors for different sections of the project. This document outlines the scope of work for this critical security upgrade.
SMSCL's Contributions
Areas for Perimeter Repair and Upgrade. The scope involves the removal of the existing chain-link fence and its replacement with a high-security wire mesh fence over an estimated span of 4,000 feet. SMSCL’s contributions include the following detailed activities:
- Mobilization and Demobilization:
- Preparation for the commencement of work, including transporting necessary equipment, materials, and personnel to the site.
- Site setup to support all construction and installation activities.
- Efficient removal of all tools, equipment, and temporary structures upon project completion.
2. Removal of Existing Fence:
- Careful dismantling of the current chain-link fence, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding areas.
- Proper disposal of removed fencing materials in accordance with environmental regulations and project specifications.
3. Excavation Works:
- Execution of all necessary excavation to facilitate the installation of new fenceposts and foundations.
- Removal and proper disposal of excavated materials.
4. Installation of New High-Security Fence:
- Installation of a durable, high-security wire mesh fence designed to meet the highest standards of protection and longevity.
- Alignment and secure positioning of fence posts to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic uniformity.
5. Ground Leveling:
- Preparation of the ground along the perimeter to ensure even and consistent fence installation.
- Execution of grading and leveling activities to support the stability and appearance of the security system.
6. Cleanup and Reinstatement:
- Comprehensive cleanup of the site, including the removal of construction debris and restoration of affected areas.
- Final inspections and adjustments to ensure the fence meets all specified requirements and standards.
