How Did SMSCL Help?
Client: The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC)
The project included the installation of 13 kilometers of new pipeline, measuring six inches in diameter and was installed along the current pipeline corridor.
This critical infrastructure upgrade project helps underpin safe and reliable operations. This project follows the recent Trinidad offshore pipeline replacement (TOPR) project completed in 2023 which involved the replacement of 96km of 12-inch pipeline for the transportation of liquids from bp’s production facilities offshore to the terminal at Galeota point.
SMSCL played a great part in this project. Rental of Equipment
We contributed by providing the following:
- 5- 320 Excavators with operators
- 4-LMI Excavators with Operators
- 2-D6 with Operators
- 2-Pipe sleds for transport all piping through the ROW
- 24-Portbale Toilets with cleaning everyday two days on ROW.
- 5-Wheel Tractors with operators for support of welfare services on ROW.
- 12-Trailers fabricated for holding of toilets through the ROW.
- 4- Welding lead trailers as required for4 welding activities on the ROW.
