How Did SMSCL Help?
Client: PERENCO TT
Our contributions began with detailed field surveys, staking, and marking of the proposed pipeline corridor and associated work areas, ensuring precise alignment and compliance with project requirements. We meticulously located and marked existing above-ground and underground facilities, mitigating potential conflicts and ensuring construction efficiency.
SMSCL executed the clearing and grading of the 44,835 sq.m pipeline corridor, expertly removing boulders, trees, and other obstacles while preserving the integrity of the surrounding environment. Our team ensured proper site preparation by cutting, transporting, and compacting earth to achieve required elevations and gradients, facilitating smooth pipeline installation.
To support construction activities, we installed temporary structures across waterways to prevent environmental degradation and ensure safe access for heavy equipment. Additionally, we provided and installed adequately sized conduits to maintain natural drainage patterns during temporary fill operations.
Our skilled workforce was responsible for the fabrication, cutting, and welding of segmentable 3D 45-degree elbows, ensuring precise bending to accommodate the pipeline route. We also supplied and installed concrete slabs at river and road crossings to enhance structural stability and longevity.
The SMSCL team conducted critical pipeline integrity processes, including hydrotesting and dewatering, ensuring the pipeline met all safety and operational standards. Additionally, our fabric maintenance work on the newly installed line guaranteed long-term durability and compliance with industry specifications.
Through our proactive approach, technical excellence, and commitment to safety and quality, SMSCL successfully delivered a comprehensive solution, contributing to the overall success of the project and reinforcing our reputation as a reliable partner in pipeline construction projects.
