As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions, SMSCL played a critical role in the Construction of the New Control Building, Guard Booth, and Ancillaries for the Beachfield Condensate Storage Facility in Guayaguayare. The project involved detailed engineering designs and construction to enhance the facility's main entrance accessway and site drainage to facilitate NGC’s day-to-day operations efficiently.

Our skilled team undertook a comprehensive scope of work, encompassing site survey and layout, temporary works, supply of materials, installation, heavy lifts, and overall site management. SMSCL provided all necessary construction plant and equipment, skilled and non-skilled labor, and expert supervision, ensuring the project’s successful execution within the required standards.

One of the key challenges faced during this project was the removal of existing infrastructure and the construction of a new main drainage headwall, which required precise engineering to accommodate the necessary turning radius. Our team meticulously modified the existing drainage infrastructure at critical points (A-B and A-C) to ensure a seamless tie-in with the existing system, followed by the reinstatement of affected drainage infrastructure and coverings to meet COMPANY’s approved design specifications.

Throughout the project, our safety and quality assurance teams implemented rigorous protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, our planning and construction resource management strategies allowed for the seamless coordination of work activities, timely execution, and efficient turnover of work to the client.
