How Did SMSCL Help?
Client: The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC)
The Stork Ocelot Project involved the installation of 13 kilometers of new pipeline with a six-inch diameter, strategically placed along the existing pipeline corridor. This critical infrastructure upgrade was designed to ensure safe and reliable operations, reinforcing the integrity of the pipeline system. This project builds on the success of the Trinidad Offshore Pipeline Replacement (TOPR) project completed in 2023, which involved replacing 96 kilometers of 12-inch pipeline for transporting liquids from bp’s offshore production facilities to the Galeota Point Terminal. The Stork Ocelot Project represents another significant step in strengthening the region’s energy infrastructure.
